On Wednesday, June 7, 2006 the US House of Representatives passed the Resolution #699 supporting National Entrepreneurship Week! Thanks to everyone who supported the Consortium in making this happen. Share with your networks the Testimony offered by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Congress as a whole. Thanks to Congressmen David Price and Tom Osborne for being co-sponsors. LATEST NEWS! In January the Consortium sent a letter to President George W Bush asking for his support for EntrepreneurshipWeek USA. We are pleased to share the President's message of congratulations with our members and their networks as you all CELEBRATE EntrepreneurshipWeek USA. Congratulations to ALL who worked so hard to feature the importance of entrepreneurship education to the youth of our nation and the future economy of America. EntrepreneurshipWeek USA was a fantastic opportunity to spread the word about the value of entrepreneurship education nationwide. There was great media coverage for EntrepreneurshipWeek USA! Delaware announcement of Partnerships in support of the Week in the The News Journal, the statewide newspaper. New Hampshire State Leadership Team partners to support the Week and gets major coverage in the press. Organizations partner in Vermont and receive press coverage for their statewide activities. Now that the first annual Entrepreneurship Week is completed, we encourage you to think about new ways to spread the word about the value of entrepreneurship education.
