. . . . . . AND JUST AS HARD TO SLEEP AFTER!(Ann Morrow Lindbergh) Over the years we have had the opportunity to meet and interact with so many great entrepreneurship education leaders. We believe in the importance of sharing to build the field of entrepreneurship education everywhere. We hope you do too.
We encourage you to use the various strategies we are now using to share information that will help each of you to be leaders in the field. This includes:
- Contact information to communicate with the Consortium. If you don't get a response please check with us....we don't want the SPAM Blockers to get in the way....so we always try to respond!
- Four websites with different purposes and target audiences:
- Our main site to support educators.... www.entre-ed.org ... is designed to provide information for teachers and program designers especially. On this main site you will find links to all other major sites managed by the Consortium.
- The National Entrepreneurship Week website ... www.entre-week.org .... provides opportunities to promote entrepreneurship education events and activities everywhere. This is not only for the special week in February, but also for entrepreneurship news Year Round.
- Check out "Future CEO Stars" www.fcsmag.com ..... To feature our students we have a website for the magazine about young entrepreneurs. This website will feature stories and videos by some of our entrepreneurship students across the country to motivate others to become more entrepreneurial as well as monthly instructor guides that tie activities to the student entrepreneur stories .. .
- The Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance - www.YEAleaders.org - (YEA) is a national policy strategy group that has emerged in 2009-10 to continue to bring the message of the importance of youth entrepreneurship education to the attention of national leaders that can be advocates and help the field expand. It started as 12 national organizations that emerged from the Youth Entrepreneurship Strategy Group, an Aspen Institute initiative, that ended in June, 2009.
- Link to YouNoodle.com ... www.younoodle.com.....our main electronic newsletter communications site. We provide regular information to our members, promoting their events as well as ours in the "Consortium Members Group". Anyone can join the "Consortium Open Group" to receive announcements and blog. The interesting feature of YouNoodle.com is its focus on young entrepreneurs. Check it out!
