Why Entrepreneurship Education?
This section provides you with a number of items to explain the need for entrepreneurship education in a variety of educational settings. Feel free to copy these articles for local use. They provide a number of viewpoints on the importance of this new area of education. They are suitable for reprinting in newsletters or for use as handouts at workshops or in classrooms. Please be sure to give credit to the author.

The Standards and performance indicators were developed based on focus groups with entrepreneurs across the US, asking what they do and what they need to know to do it. Standards are presented in three sections: ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS, READY SKILLS, AND BUSINESS FUNCTIONS. Contact Cathy Ashmore for additional information.
