** SPECIAL CONFERENCE EVENTS:

  • Consortium Members Special Meeting - Friday, November 4 - Read this invitation for all Consortium members and guests to explore the meanings of Slavery and Freedom (Then and Now) as we visit the Cincinnati Freedom Center and partake in an opportunity to share ideas and enjoy an Italian Feast. Registrations required.

  • Plan to jump on the bus for the Annual Pre-Conference Tour of Cincinnati area Entrepreneurs. Take your place on this great the Pre-conference Tour,scheduled 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM with a drop off at 12 for those involved in the Think Tank Meeting too. Fee $25/person. Check out this outstanding agenda. Advance reservations requested.

    SPECIAL NOTE - We regret that we have not had enough registrations to run two tours as we had hoped. As a result we are cancelling the second tour in the afternoon and will run the first tour in the morning as planned. We are encouraging those who chose Tour B in the afternoon to plan to go on the morning tour. There is still plenty of room.

  • "THINK LIKE AN ENTREPRENEUR" - The annual Think Tank Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, Nov 5, 12:30 AM - 4:30 PM at the Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel. Help us discuss plans for expanding your role in "Entrepreneurship Everywhere". Joining us at the meeting will be representatives from PLTW (Project Lead the Way) who will discuss how we can interact with their STEM-based programs to share our new problem-based entrepreneurship initiatives. All are welcome to participate in this activity-based workshop! Fee $25 including Box Lunch. Check out the whole agenda here. Advance reservations requested.

  • DIXIELAND DINNER CRUISE Join your friends Sunday evening for the all-conference outing on the "Beautiful Ohio" Cost of the event is covered in your conference registration fee.

  • POST CONFERENCE TOUR - Complete your conference experience by joining your colleagues from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Monday as we enjoy the Cincinnati Museum Center in the historic Train Terminal. Then we will head for the Hollywood Casino just across the state border in Indiana for an evening of good food and good luck. Fee is $75 and advance reservations are required. Participants must be 21.

** SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM - Deadline to apply is September 23.....Be among more than 100 educators receiving an award.

** STUDENT MARKETPLACE APPLICATION FORM - We encourage student entrepreneurs to register FREE for Sunday to set up an exhibit to sell their products, talk to the teachers, and enjoy the luncheon. Reservation form is due no later than Nov 1 to enable us to plan for exhibit space.

** COLLEGE CREDIT AVAILABLE - The University of Cincinnati Economic Center in partnership with the FORUM is providing a maximum of 3 graduate credits for attending the 29th Annual Entrepreneurship Education FORUM .

** NOMINATE THE 2011 OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR AND THE SPECIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION LEADER - Consortium members are encouraged to submit your nominations for these two annual Consortium AWARDS. Applications due by October 17. Consortium members, see these attached forms for details: 1. Outstanding Educator Award and the 2. Leadership Advocacy Award .

** EXHIBITOR INFORMATION - Where else can exhibitors find a whole conference of educators interested in entrepreneurship education as a lifelong learning process?

  • Exhibitors: Set up exhibits in main ballroom - Saturday, Nov 5 - from 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM. Note that the Conference Opening Session begins in another room at 5:00 PM with the Roundtables. All exhibits need to be ready and boxes/materials etc. cleaned up by 6:15 PM. Staff will assist and shipped exhibitor materials will be delivered to the ballroom in advance. Opening Reception begins in the main ballroom at 6:30 PM.

** HOTEL - The conference will be held at the Hilton Netherland Plaza, a beautiful and historic hotel in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. Rooms are available at a wonderful rate of $99 per night for up to 4 people per room. Deadline for reservations is October 21, depending on availability of the reserved block. ** CALL FOR PROGRAMS - Check these details and send us your proposal no later than March 31 to be a presenter on the program. Note that we will accept proposals AFTER the deadline if we have program needs or if there are cancellations before the conference. Feel free to send your proposal. We will confirm the status.
